At their shows, I was really expecting a drunkpunk band and not a band as 'refined' as that band. My initial thoughts on hearing them when I came in was they sounded like post-hardcore and even had some singing that would be considered border line screamo. I really wasn't impressed... That is until after two songs, they broke from this and the rest of the time sounded like conifir mixed with crass. The vocals definitly migrated towards early 90s punk. As they played on, it got more intense. At one point, something stopped working and the singer smashed his guitar over the drummers cymbols a few times. After this didn't fix the issue, he changed the cable which did it. |
