I'll let Gabe and Tycho sum it up: [img] AMAZING game. Side-scrolling, 2D sprite-based beat-em-up RPG. Hand-drawn animated sprites. Giant ones. Full voice acting (English or Japanese, your pick). Five playable characters, each with their own part in an interlocking story. Your HP, as noted above, have experience points, which you raise by eating food (also healing current hp), which you get be planting seeds, which grow plants that - yes - eat souls. Your weapon, in addition, eats the aforementioned souls; it has its own experience points. You can also create soul energy with alchemy, along with various potions and such. Did I mention it looks spectacular? YOU NEED THIS GAME. |
