[band=halfhearted_comeback]: the sounded really good, but again the crowd didn't care about them playing at all. Weird that people aren't caring about the bands laying at all. Maybe they are too busy on their phones updating their myspace profile? Damn you t-mobile and your $2 a month myspce service. [band=cockpunch]: not only are their songs hilarious, but they are wicked good. Old hardcore punk stuff with silly lyrics about hating people for fucking whores from the internet and how you can be drug free if it burns when you pee. As their set wore on, the crowd got scary. Scary good though. Nice and violent like western mass shows used to be. Vincent hit on a point talking about hardcore. Something that was examplified but the preceding bands, the fact that the scene is sort of dying. I find it troubling, but shows like this should be the norm. Parking out side is a nightmare. You have to park like a mile down he road. Anyhow, for their last song (a cover I didn't know) the average weight in the front went from 110lbs to closed to 200 as the real men came out and moshed/rolled on top of the crowd.
