I plan on going back there sometime. yeah i love those doods, Throwing Shrapnel and Holy Fuck got asked to play there and they treated too good it was fucking awesome. if you're into basement shows i def recommend this spot. also the neighborhood is part of the appeal. |

The place used to be a spot that had AA meetings (explains the break room when you walk in). They said people still knock and ask if there's meetings. They were blasting Gravediggaz when I walked in. All the houses around it are boarded up and they said they can have shows any night and cops don't come. A friend of mine came from DC to see me. She's a tall white female and she was taking pictures at the beer store with some local "street folk". Little nerve racking, surreal experience nonetheless. Ill post some pics of the spot when I'm home. |
