MDB: How do you use it in Cubase? Do you have Cubase open and GR3 open at the same time and play? Or do you save your GR3 sound and apply it to regular recorded tracks? I use Cubase too... PLEASE HELP!
i have a mac so this is what i did: just put the guitar rig folders in the same folder/ path as the cubase plugins you got with the cubase software...my comp just found it (you may have to search for the new vst with the windows one) then on the channel you arm for recording just go to inserts (where the other vst plugins are) and put guitar rig on and the same window comes to cubase as is does in standalone. you can record with a GR preset and you can change the presets after you record your guitar track if you don't care for the one you initially used. i use a presonus firestudio into cubase and it sounds incredible... plenty of tools in cubase to tweak the guitar sound to perfection...hope this helps Anthony- yes i have recorded some stuff and am thinking of making a soundclick account of just random shit i made..mostly ambient electronic bullshit that sucks.... i would love to make some metal but i cant get drums!!! i couldn't get them rolling in cubase so i bought an sr-16 and am still having a diffikvlt time. ill figure it out though. you working on any new CB material?
