I think any more extensive research that's funded in this country on psychedelics will produce results that advocate the use of these substances for use in therapy, and certain treatments. The ones i think they will and should explore will include Psilocybin/Psilocin (mushrooms), DMT, mescaline, and ibogaine. I believe that LSD isn't really as beneficial as these others, although i still thoroughly enjoy the experience. I just believe there is too much confusion with it, and not enough introspection. (While DMT is ALL introspection.) |

Many, many people have claimed that the one time treatment of it has completely stopped any withdrawals from Opiates. (heroine, OCs, morphine, percs, vics, etc...) (While DMT is ALL introspection.) agreed. i'm an entirely different person due to mushrooms. one problem is that people take these things casually, at times they really shouldn't be. i for one did that too many times, and it almost ruined them for me. however after actually taking the time to "do a ritual" with them, the experience was 1000 times better. |

It's about the only doctor in the US to EVER get legal permission to do testing on people with DMT to see about it's therapeutic uses. It chronicles from how he got permission, to the company he had make the drug for him, to interviews with possible subjects, to actual testing (administering DMT to people in a controlled environment.) To how people were affected long term. Obviously i love DMT. I'm outspoken about it, I advocate it to anyone who'll listen, and all for good reason. And, yup, after reading the plot summary, it's totally based on the book i was describing. Rick Strassman is the man, i totally respect him for doing what he did with that study.
