If I have some really good indoor (which I always try to get) it opens many doors in my head and I write a lot of stuff in that state of mind. But, I never feel like I need it to write. Some of the best stuff I've written has been dead sober, pissed off mood, you know. Playing live I feel that a couple beers definitely loosens me up a bit but I do can fine without it. |

| _____________________________________ [Aug 12,2004 1:08pm - the_rooster ""] i usually always keep a packed bowl next to me when i practice. i get bored playing by myself otherwise (especially since i have to play alot of classical music during the semester)...every clitorture practice we get wrecked before we start, and there is a noticeably difference in the vibe if we don't. everything i or we write is heavily influenced by chronic. i can't do shit playing wise if i drink though...slows my thought process and my physical respnonse way too much. i do seem to come up with a lot of my lyrics when i'm shitfaced though... |

Normally when I smoke and play drums, i'm jamming with my guitarist, playing ISIS styled music. Depends on the weed too cause some bud gives you energy and motivation, others just drain the life out of you. High or not, drums are great to play, but I get bored if I have no guitarist to jam with. |
