I have heard way less of Porphyria and I really want to see them live, but I also want to see HCN live, though I am alternatively working on another HCN show. It's a free show, so there's like no bling bling involved, but feel free to sell shirts or merch, or ask for donations. 10pm show. |

I don't think it has much to do with the venues as it has to do with providence in general. When Aganihm played the Box O Knives, Kyle got mugged. When I went to see Phobia at the Met Cafe, a friend of mine went to make a phone call and was gone for over an hour. When he came back, we asked where he was. He had watched a guy get stabbed and waited with him till the Ambulance came. That said, you're gonna find a million horror stories about a million places, but as far as how the Safari is run, they just give you the space and you play, and that's all I want right now...No money involved, barely check IDs, and decent location not too far from the public transit. Plus it's easy to get a show there. |
